Banana Spilt with Strawberries

The ice cream classic in a special variation. It's easy to make your own strawberry sorbet, even without an ice cream maker. Super fast and a taste experience for the senses. The strawberry sorbet means that the dessert is not so heavy and is therefore a perfect summer dessert. The fresh strawberries give the ice cream creation the necessary acidity and provide balance.

Ingredients

Instructions

    • 90 g sugar
    • 90 g water
    • 500 g strawberries (deep-frozen)

    Leave the strawberries to defrost for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, shake the sugar and water vigorously in a container with a lid so that the sugar dissolves.

    • ½ lemon

    Squeeze the juice from the lemon and add to the strawberries with the sugar water. Blend with a hand blender. When the mixture is homogeneous and already somewhat sorbet-like. Pour into a container with a lid and place in the freezer for one hour.

    • 250 ml cream
    • 4 bananas
    • 250 g strawberries

    Whip the cream until stiff and slice the strawberries. Cut the bananas in half.

    • Once the ice cream is well frozen. Place the banana halves on the plate and spread 3 scoops of sorbet on top. Top with the whipped cream and decorate with the strawberries.
