Burger Buns
These homemade burger buns are an eye-catcher - the next barbecue party can come! The soft, buttery brioche bun harmonises wonderfully with a wide variety of specialities from the grill.

Ingredients
6 buns- 550 g wheat flour (550)
- 250 ml milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 3 eggs
- 60 g butter (cold)
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsps Sesame Seeds
- salt

1 tsp dry yeast
Put the flour in a bowl and make a well. Heat the milk to lukewarm and dissolve the yeast and sugar in it. Pour the milk mixture into the well and mix with a little flour. Cover and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Knead the dough in a food processor for 10 minutes on a low setting.

Add the eggs and knead for 5 minutes.

Add the cold butter cubes and knead for a further 3 minutes.

Add the salt and knead the dough for 5 more minutes. Then cover with a kitchen towel and leave to rise for 1 hour.

Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into balls. Leave to rise for 30 minutes.

2 tbsps Sesame Seeds
Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan oven. Whisk the egg, brush the burger buns with it and scatter the sesame seeds on top. Bake the buns for 15 minutes.
