Ratatouille

A classic Mediterranean vegetable dish

Instructions

    • 1 onion
    • 1 tbsp olive oil

    Cut the onions into small cubes, put them in a pot and fry them together with olive oil until golden brown.

    • 800 ml canned tomatoes
    • basil
    • chili powder
    • salt
    • pepper

    Add the canned tomatoes and simmer together for 20 to 30 minutes on medium heat. Season with basil, chilli, salt and pepper.

    • 1 zucchini
    • 1 aubergine
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 1 red pepper
    • 1 yellow pepper

    In the meantime, slice the zucchini, aubergine, tomatoes and peppers.

    • Spread about half of the tomato sauce in a baking dish, layer the cut vegetables on top and spread the remaining tomato sauce on top.

      • parmesan
      • 1 tbsp olive oil

      Als oberste Schicht geriebenen Parmesan verstreuen, mit 1 EL Olivenöl übergießen und die Form bei 180 bis 200 °C für ca. 30 Minuten in den Ofen stellen.

    Tip

    • It goes well with couscous or polenta.
