Walnut Olive Oil Granola

This granola is perfect for a delicious breakfast or as a snack between meals. The combination of crunchy rolled oats, roasted walnuts, olive oil and maple syrup gives it a unique, buttery flavor.

Ingredients

Instructions

    • 150 g walnuts

    Chop the walnuts with a knife and set aside.

    • 40 g olive oil
    • 20 g maple syrup
    • 2 piches of salt

    In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil and maple syrup and season with salt.

    • 30 g flaxseeds
    • 150 g oats

    Add the walnuts, flax seeds and oats to the oil mixture in the bowl and mix well. Spread onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    • Preheat the oven to 160°F and place the tray on the middle rack. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes (or until granola is golden brown). Stir occasionally.

    Tip

    • The oven does not need to be preheated.
