Apple Bread Rolls

A tasty snack, not only in autumn for the apple harvest

    • 225 ml water (luke warm)
    • 2 tbsps sugar
    • 5 g dry yeast
    • 500 g flour

    Mix the water, sugar and yeast in a large bowl. Add the flour and knead until the dough is smooth (about 5 to 10 minutes) and leave to rest for 2 to 3 hours.

    • 1 apple

    Meanwhile, cut the apple into small cubes.

    • 3 tbsps sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon

    Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of approx. 5 mm. Spread the apple cubes on top and press down. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

    • Form into a roll and cut into equal sized pieces and bake in the oven at 200 °C for 35 minutes until the rolls are golden brown.
